Kathryn Brannan holds a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University in Denver, Colorado and is a registered mental health counseling intern with the state of Florida. She received her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of South Florida. While completing her master's degree, she interned at Light of the Rockies Christian Counseling Center in Fort Collins, Colorado. She believes in meeting her clients where they are and helping them discover and develop new ways of thinking to increase their joy and passion for life. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and individuals who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and adjusting to changes in life. She is working toward specified trauma training and she incorporates a Christian counseling perspective when requested. She uses an integrated cognitive behavioral approach to work collaboratively with clients to develop skills and goals for better living.
