Sara Buckland

Sara Buckland is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern dedicated to helping individuals overcome barriers and create meaningful, fulfilling lives. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2023 and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2026.

Sara has experience working with clients navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, childhood wounds, and neurodivergence. Her professional interests include ADHD, autism, neurodivergence, and trauma, and she has completed specialized training in mindfulness techniques designed to support neurodivergent individuals.

Sara's therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with a psychodynamic perspective. She believes that our experiences can both shape and limit us, but that greater self-understanding and intentional growth can lead to meaningful change — helping clients make sense of past experiences and develop a vision for the future they want to create.

Clients can expect a collaborative, compassionate, and goal-oriented experience where they are encouraged to explore new perspectives, develop practical skills, and build a life that aligns with their values and aspirations.
